The Pelican Point Power Station currently runs on gas supplied by Epic Energy from Moomba.
A new gas supply line has been installed by South Australian Gas Company (SEAgas) from South Western Victoria to Adelaide and Pelican Point required the ability to use gas from this line as well as the existing line.
The project for OE consisted of the fabrication and installation of a piping system including control valves which would enable the ration of gas from both lines to be varied according to station requirements.
The new pipe work had to be tied in to the existing main supply line during a planned maintenance shutdown.
